Remove all text formattings

Question:
In some text fields the text is double spaced and I want to get rid of it. Text formatting only covers text, not line distances.

Answer:
Indeed it is possible to get rid of most formattings with selecting text and press CTRL + N, but some formattings can not be deleted if they have to do with paragraph formatting. Here is a trick to get rid of these formattings anyway:

1. Select some text with formatting
2. cut the text with CTRL + X
3. insert it again with CTRL + SHIFT + V

How is it working? CTRL + SHIFT + V inserts only plain text from the clipboard, so no single format is inserted.

Note that with this "trick" you can even get rid of "nasty" formattings and even tables...
