Hi Dirk,
Maybe I missed something somewhere. I was looking for a way I could hyper-link to a document on my hard drive in NotesBrowser.
I believe I have the latest version installed.
I don't seem to be able to find a way to set a hyper-link to a line of text.
For Example:
I have a NotesBrowser page open and in a category I have a list of things to do.
I would like to be able to type in a document name, hi-lite that document name, right click on it and have an option to "Set hyper-link" in the popup menu that would open a Windows browse window so I could locate the file, click on the file and it becomes a hyper-link I can click on in NotesBrowser and it will open in the software for that document. Similar to how it is done in M/S word.
That would be a GREAT feature to ad to v1.8.
If that feature is already available, please let me know where it is.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,
you can now only add links if you enter something like:
C:\My Files\Document.doc
And then you can double click the link and Document.doc will be launched!
You can drag&drop files you want to link in Notesbrowser -> but drag them not into the fields, but on Notesbrowser outside of a field (beneath a text field) and the path to the document and the name will be inserted in the top left field of the page.
I know this is not exactly what you wanted, but it works - the other thing is in the upcoming 1.8 the drag&drop into text fields will work better than in 1.7. - but we are using a third-party-component here and the OLE support of it is not yet perfect..
Best regards,
Dirk
